Bookings Open For The Bajaj Pulsar N250 And Pulsar N160 In Nepal

HH Bajaj has announced the commencement of bookings for the Pulsar N250 and N160 in the Nepalese market. The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is priced at an introductory Rs 4,89,900, while the Pulsar N160 is priced at Rs 3,79,900.

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 gets an LED Projector Unipod Headlamp unit DRLs on either side. The motorcycle continues the signature Pulsar styling like bifurcated taillights, semi-digital instrument cluster, muscular fuel tank, split seat setup, traditional telescopic forks and monoshock rear suspension. The bike also gets a stubby double-barrel exhaust.

Powering the new Bajaj Pulsar N250 is a single-cylinder, oil-cooled 250cc BS6-compliant motor that makes 24 bhp and 21.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The bikes get a 300 mm front disc and a 230m rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle runs on 100 mm front and 130 mm rear cross-section tyres. In terms of tech, the bikes only get a USB charging port, missing out on Bluetooth connectivity.

On the other hand, the new Pulsar N160 is based on the same platform as the N250 and also shares styling elements with the quarter-litre motorcycle. It also gets a segment first dual channel ABS with 300mm disc brakes in the front and 230mm disc brakes at the rear. The Pulsar N160 comes with features such as USB mobile charging, gear position indicator and distance to fuel empty readout. The N160 gets a 14-litre fuel tank, while the kerb weight is said to be 154 kg.

Powering the Pulsar N160 is a 164.82cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 15.7 bhp and 14.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
